These Terms & Conditions set out the rules and obligations that apply when you access the Offshore Containers Shop website or purchase any of our products or services. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We operate in accordance with South African commercial law and applicable international trade regulations.

2. Scope of Application
   These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, sales, services, deliveries, and communications provided by Offshore Containers Shop, whether made online, by email, or by phone.

3. Products & Descriptions
   We supply new and used shipping containers, refrigerated units, modular structures, and customised container conversions.
   All descriptions, photos, and specifications are provided in good faith. For used containers, variations such as dents, rust, and colour differences are normal.
   Product availability is subject to stock.

4. Pricing & Payment
   All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless specified otherwise.
   Delivery charges are not included unless clearly stated.
   Full payment must be made before delivery unless another arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
   We accept EFT, bank transfers, and approved payment methods.
   Ownership of goods remains with Offshore Containers Shop until full payment has been received.

5. Quotations & Orders
   Quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
   Orders become binding only once confirmed in writing.
   Customers must provide accurate delivery information and ensure site access.

6. Delivery
   We deliver across South Africa and can arrange international delivery upon request.
   Delivery timeframes vary depending on product availability and location.
   Deliveries are conducted using specialised trucks or cranes.
   Customers must ensure safe access, stable ground, and any required permits.
   If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccurate site details or access issues, additional charges may apply.
   Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery; ownership transfers after full payment is received.

7. Site Requirements
   Customers must ensure the following before delivery:

• Safe and stable offloading conditions

• Adequate access for delivery vehicles

• No overhead obstructions such as wires or branches

• All required permissions or permits are obtained

We are not responsible for damage to surfaces such as paving, grass, or driveways during offloading.

8. Returns & Cancellations
   New containers may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition. Return transport costs are the customer’s responsibility.
   Used containers are sold “as is” and cannot be returned unless they significantly differ from the condition described.
   Customised or modified containers cannot be returned or refunded.
   Orders cancelled before dispatch may be subject to administrative fees.

9. Warranty & Liability
   New containers include a standard warranty against structural defects, typically 12 months.
   Used containers are sold as wind- and water-tight but may show signs of wear. No extended warranty is provided.
   We are not liable for delays caused by transport companies, customs, or external factors.
   We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or customer alterations.
   Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods.

10. Container Modifications
    We offer modifications such as windows, doors, insulation, electrical installations, and structural changes.
    Customised containers are non-returnable and non-refundable.

11. Leasing & Rentals (If Applicable)
    Rental agreements include specific terms regarding payment, duration, maintenance, and condition.
    All leased containers remain the property of Offshore Containers Shop.

12. Intellectual Property
    All website content, including text, images, and branding, belongs to Offshore Containers Shop and may not be reproduced without written consent.

13. Data Protection
    We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and South African data protection requirements.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
    These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled by the relevant South African courts unless required otherwise by consumer protection laws.
